I find it interesting that a liberal Democrat like you has such contempt for teachers, given that the NEA is a major force in the Democrat Party (something like 1/4 of the 2004 delegates to the Democrat cnvention were members). We've had any number of presidents who never served in the military -- Bill Clinton and FDR come to mind. Each of them actually committed men to combat despite having never served. Was Bill Clinton a "chickenshit chickenhawk"? What about FDR?
