Thanks to Michelle Malkin for supplying it.
“People who should get in, get in; people who should not enter are kept out; and people who are deportable should be required to leave.”
How evil.
How hateful.
How racist.
How true.
Now only if it were original to Malkin herself.
It isn't.
It comes from the report of a commission on immigration reform led by Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX), one of the greatest figures to walk the halls of Congress in the last half of the twentieth century -- and a liberal African-American woman. Would that the Democrats could find a few more of her type in their midst -- the party might be worth something again.

Comments on Quote From A Cold-Hearted, Racist Conservative
I told the students that I agree with the late Texas congresswoman Barbara Jordan–a liberal black Democrat and respected immigration authority– who noted that credibility in immigration policy rests on three simple principles: “People who should get in, get in; people who should not enter are kept out; and people who are deportable should be required to leave.”

Is the entirety of what she said. You just told us the same thing Michelle did. If you are going to post something that someone said, post the important parts too.
You forgot to mention:
a. MM gave credit to the source of the quote
b.The person who wrote what she was quoting is a liberal black democrat.
So if Michelle Malkin is cold hearted racist conservative for quoting it, what does that make the liberal black democrat originator of the quote?
Of course you won't allow this post, because actual facts never help a liberal's case, but I thought I'd let you know what the rest that paragraph said, since you obviously missed it.

|| Posted by Neil Davis, April 7, 2008 06:33 PM ||Dude -- how can you breathe with your head stuck so far up your ass?
1) My title is meant as ironic -- my point, for the irony impaired, is that the quote was NOT from "A Cold-Hearted, Racist Conservative", but is instead from a well-known and rightly beloved liberal Democrat.
2) Second, I link Michelle's post, the Commission's website, and Barbara Jordan's biography to show that the quote came from a respected liberal Democrat -- and state that I wish that the Democrats could find a few more like her to fight against the current immigration problem from the Left.
3) I'm not a liberal -- which you would have found out if you took a few minutes to look at the rest of my site -- or my biography in the right-hand column.
4) I'll gladly leave your comment up -- because it shows that you are an ass who didn't read the entire post before making an ignorant, ill-informed comment.
And might I conclude, Neil, that you have amply demonstrated yourself to be a complete idiot. Feel free to come back any time and do it again.
