As regular readers here know, my darling wife and I were hit hard by Hurricane Ike back in September. More to the point, we got nearly three feet of water in the house, and are currently displaced, living in a small apartment until the reconstruction process is complete (hopefully by the end of February). But it wasn't just the house we lost -- it was also a huge amount of the contents, including all of our furniture except for a couple of heirloom pieces we hope to have restored if we can.
That means, of course, that we will be replacing a lot of furniture. We picked out what we want a couple of weeks back, and so know what we will be bringing in to the newly repaired place. It was easy to select most of it, but the hardest thing to do was making the choice among the various beds we saw. After all, we spend between 1/4 and 1/3 of our time in the bedrooms -- sometimes even more -- so we really wanted to select something we like. Fortunately, we found a great bedroom set that we both could agree on -- but only after viewing a lot of websites that for ideas. Indeed, one of the sites that we found most useful was from the UK, Time4Sleep. Their huge selection of beds allowed us to look at a host of different styles. So if you are in the UK and need a bed, their site would be a great place for you to shop.
